Western chic! Think elevated western style with a relaxed, fun feel. Boots, jeans, and western-inspired pieces are welcome. Dress it up or keep it casual - just come ready to kick off the party in style! If boots aren't your thing, no worries at all. Come dressed in whatever feels like you!

No transportation will be provided for the welcome party, but no need to worry! Everything in Vail Village is within walking distance. The welcome party will begin at 7:30pm at Cucina at The Lodge at Vail, so please plan your arrival accordingly. We suggest dining at one of Vail's many amazing restaurants beforehand, then make your way over to us. We can't wait to see you!

Think somewhere between formal and black-tie optional. For men, a classic suit is a great choice, while a long dress is perfect for women. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but certainly not required. We encourage you to wear something you feel confident and comfortable in - just come ready to celebrate!

No, transportation will not be provided to the ceremony or reception. The good news is that Vail Village is a pedestrian-only village, so everything is within easy walking distance! If you're staying at one of our recommended hotels, you should be a few minutes' walk to the Vail Interfaith Chapel. Following the ceremony, everyone will make their way to Gondola One to head up the mountain for an evening of celebration. One thing to note, if you're staying at the Hythe or the Solaris, both hotels offer complimentary shuttle services to help you get around.

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. We kindly ask that our guests arrive by 3:15pm to allow plenty of time to find your seat and get settled before the ceremony begins. We want to make sure we can start the evening on time and celebrate together from the very beginning!

Both the ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. Since guests will be walking to and from each event throughout Vail Village, we recommend dressing accordingly and keeping the weather in mind when choosing your attire.

Our reception concludes at 10pm. From there, guests will make their way down the mountain and can either head back to their hotel, or keep the celebration going at one of Vail's bars!

Early September in Vail is typically beautiful, crisp, and comfortable, with warm afternoons and cooler mornings and evenings. You can generally expect daytime temperatures in the 60s to low 70s, with temperatures dropping into the 40s and 50s after sunset. While our events will be indoors, we recommend bringing a shawl, wrap, or light layer for the evenings to ensure you stay comfortable while walking around Vail Village and heading home after festivities.

Yes! Vail sits at approximately 8,100 feet above sea level, so you may notice the elevation when you first arrive. We recommend staying hydrated, taking it easy when you first arrive, and giving yourself time to adjust. Keep in mind that alcohol can affect you more quickly at higher elevations, so be sure to pace yourself and drink plenty of water throughout the weekend!
